After another grueling time in the jungle, it’s the final of the survival challenge for the remaining famous faces.

They’ve made it to the last day after three weeks of facing their fears and braving everything that's been thrown at them at their camp in Australia

Which of them will Ant and Dec crown as this year's King or Queen of the Jungle?

Dame Judi Dench : All The World's Her Stage, 8.30pm, BBC Four

This is the centrepiece of a night – starting at 7pm - dedicated to the wonderful British thespian Judi Dench (below).

It’s a documentary celebrating the life and times of the veteran actress, looking back at the high points of her 60-year career.

Billy Connolly recalls the time, when filming Mrs Brown, he thought she was falling in love with him, while Samantha Bond remembers how she calmed Pierce Brosnan's nerves to prepare him for his first scene with the actress.

Other contributors include Daniel Craig, Ann Mitchell, Sam Mendes and Ian McKellen. Narrated by Colin Salmon.

Jamie Cooks Christmas, 8.00pm, Channel 4

In this two-parter, Jamie Oliver (below) demonstrates festive recipes, beginning with cheesy filo parcels with a cranberry dip.

Then he moves on to a cauliflower lasagne – no thanks! - using the hasselback technique and a festive jerk-inspired rub, paired with chicken, sausage and bacon party kebabs to get his guests in the party mood.

Jamie also mixes up walnuts, Medjool dates and festive spices to make a sticky toffee coffee pudding.

Alpine Hotel at Christmas, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Documentary following the festive season at the extremely posh Gstaad Palace hotel in Switzerland, as staff and management strive to ensure that guests enjoy the ultimate five-star experience.

Run by third-generation hotelier Andrea Scherz, whose family have owned it since 1938, the hotel is one of the last in Switzerland to close between the summer season and winter.

With rooms costing up to £18,000 per night, the pressure is on to provide a truly first-class Christmas.

Dostoyevsky, 10.00pm, Sky Atlantic

Yet more top-notch Italian drama, this time a cop show by twin directors Damiano and Fabio D’Innocenzo.

Dostoyevsky follows the life and investigative work of policeman, Enzo Vitello, played by Filippo Timi.

With a troubled past and an inevitable future, Enzo finds himself investigating the bloody trail of a ruthless serial killer, nicknamed Dostoyevsky, because of the letters they leave at crime scenes, filled with gruesome details.

Haunted by the killer's words, Enzo is pushed to embark on a dangerous solo investigation, getting closer and closer to the disturbing truth.

Lawrence Armanetti (Danny DeVito) runs a grand hotel in the mountains of Italy.

Every winter, he hosts his extended family for Christmas, but this summer he'll get more than he bargained for. His daughter and son-in-law are divorcing and have tasked Lawrence with breaking the bad news to their young daughter, Claire (Antonella Rose).

Realising that her family won't be returning together in December, Claire insists on having one last Christmas with the entire family... in the middle of summer.

As the relatives gather, Claire and Lawrence hatch a plan to inspire her parents' reconciliation: a last-ditch effort to keep the family together.

Nightmare Alley, 10.00pm, Channel 4

Guillermo del Toro's thriller – a remake of a 1947 Film Noir of the same name - starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett and Toni Collette, is an absolute cracker.

Cooper plays an ambitious carnival worker with a talent for manipulating people who joins forces with a female psychiatrist - Blanchett is mesmerizing here - who is even more dangerous than he is.
