Saoirse Ruane remembered as Late Late Toy Show viewers donate over €4 million to the Toy Show Appeal.
Since the Toy Show Appeal began in 2020, the people of Ireland have donated in record numbers, with this year being no different.
As this year's spectacular drew to a close, host Patrick Kielty announced that viewers had donated over €4 million, bringing the total raised by the fund in the last four years to over €25 million.
The Toy Show Appeal was inspired by Saoirse Ruane from Kiltullagh, Co Galway, who won the hearts of the nation with her appearance on The Late Late Toy Show in 2020.
A special Saoirse star sat on top of the Toy Show Christmas tree which could be seen at the start of a special performance featuring the music from the movie Wicked on Friday night's show - watch below.
