Speaking on the success of the album, earlier today the band expressed their gratitude, "Just want to say a massive Thank You. We've gotten a No.1 award, arrived at our door today and we’re over the moon. So thanks a mil, thank you".
Recorded at RAK Studios in London and produced by Grammy and Brit Award-winning Kid Harpoon, Inhaler's third album reinforces their status as a modern guitar band for whom pop melodies, intricate grooves and rock’n’roll dynamism are kindred spirits rather than strangers.
It arrives as the band are on the UK leg of their Open Wide World Tour. The 11-date UK & Ireland tour includes two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Brixton Academy on February 13 and 14.
The band return to play their biggest ever headline show to date to a 20,000-capacity crowd at St Anne’s Park in Dublin on May 30.
Meanwhile, on this week's Official Irish Homegrown Chart, Inhaler are at number 4 with Billy (Yeah Yeah Yeah) while Killeagh by Kingfishr sits on top.
In the Top 50 singles chart,Lola Young's Messy has maintained top spot ahead of Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar, which has climbed 20 places. The highest new entry is Ordinary by Alex Warren at number 9.
