Irish stars out for the IFTAs on Friday night

Irish screen stars will be bringing it all back home for the Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) Awards in the Dublin Royal Convention Centre on Friday night.

Among those confirmed to attend are: IFTA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Colm Meaney, Cillian Murphy (Small Things Like These), Saoirse Ronan (The Outrun, Blitz), Andrew Scott (Ripley), Ruth Negga (Presumed Innocent), Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Sharon Horgan (Bad Sisters), Anthony Boyle (Say Nothing, Masters of the Air), Kneecap's JJ Ó Dochartaigh, Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, and Naoise Ó Cairealláin; Liam Cunningham (3 Body Problem), Eva Birthistle (Kathleen is Here), Victoria Smurfit (Rivals), Alisha Weir (Abigail), Clinton Liberty (House of the Dragon), and Chris O'Dowd (creator and star of new series Small Town, Big Story).

Kevin McGahern is this year's IFTAs host

TikTok star Eric Roberts will host interviews on IFTA's official TikTok account from 5:00pm.

This year, Kneecap leads the film categories with 17 nominations and Say Nothing leads the television categories with 10 nominations.
