Queen Latifah is back as Robyn McCall in season five of this reboot about a vigilante who helps the otherwise helpless.

Not to be confused with the film series of the same name, starring Denzel Washington.

McCall comes across to most as an average single mother who is quietly raising her teenage daughter.

But to a trusted few, she is an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption.

In the opening episode of the latest run, McCall races to rescue two siblings who run into trouble after stealing a grocery truck carrying firearms.

Meanwhile, Harry and Delilah help Mel through her trauma in the aftermath of her kidnapping.

Murder Trial: Body in the Warehouse, 9.00pm, BBC Two

This is the case of 60-year-old army veteran Ean Coutts, whose burnt and decomposed body was discovered in an abandoned warehouse near Glenrothes, Fife, in 2020, 12 months after his death.

Decorator David Barnes was eventually convicted of the crime at the High Court in Edinburgh. He had assumed Mr Coutts' identity and withdrawn more than £5,000 of his money.

Here’s season 3 of the drama based on Karin Slaughter’s New York Times bestselling Will Trent series.

Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system.

The Champions League play-off first legs continue with Celtic v Bayern Munich (KO 8pm) from Celtic Park in Glasgow.

Celtic's Adam Idah

The Scottish side finished in 21st place in the league phase to secure their place in this round, with all three of their wins in the round coming at home.

Tonight they face a tough test against the German giants, who won 2-1 when they last visited this venue in the group stage of the 2017/18 tournament.
