Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I've never performed live. Writing songs is my dirty secret that nobody really knows. I've always felt there is more to life than the everyday struggles.
How would you describe your music?
I write in different genres, it's pure Irish honesty in poetry. It's like Damien Dempsey contemplating life with a midi keyboard and a mic.
Who are your musical inspirations?
I move around a bit with inspirations, But I think The Saw Doctors are inspiring, selling out shows and still going strong.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
A cover band called Wormz and they played Nothing Else Matters by Metallica and I got my dad to take me to Argos the next day to buy a guitar . . . I was 19 and I'd no car yet.
What was the first record you ever bought?
It might have been Bob Marley's Greatest Hits or Nirvana.
What’s your favourite song right now?
My favourite song is a song I wrote called Something. Is that weird?
Favourite lyric of all time?
"Great intentions for a wild mind, but I just stay in bed and bide my time"
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Something - that's my own song.
Where can people find your music/more information?
I've just started the whole social media fiasco and I'm thoroughly not enjoying it. I'm there and I'm on all streaming platforms.
