How would you describe your music?
Author Roisin Kiberd has coined the p***ed-off pop genre. I'm sticking with that.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Solo artists who plough their own field and good bands I see live who make me rethink what I'm at.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Joe Dolan in Semple Stadium 1989. It was organised for the victorious Tipp team's All-Ireland homecoming. It was so successful they threw Feile 90 the following year. The rest is history.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I bought Dos Dedos Mis Amigos by Pop Will Eat Itself the day after seeing them do their rowdy Late Late Show appearance. Luckily, a shop in Thurles sold it.
What's your favourite song right now?
Dunce by Ed Schrader's Music Beat.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"You'll always be an a***hole to someone. You don't have to look too far at all. Don't worry about it, it'll drive you up the wall" - Jinx Lennon
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Bucks of Oranmore played by Seamus Ennis.
