My Bloody Valentine to play first Dublin gig since 1992

Shoegaze pioneers My Bloody Valentine will play their first headline Irish show since 1992 at the 3Arena on 22 November 2025.

Tickets priced from €65.70 including booking fee go on general sale Friday 29 November at 10.00am via ticketmaster.ie. Concert goers can sign up for pre-sale access via the band's website and Foggy Notions.

The acclaimed Dublin-London band last played Ireland when were on the bill for Electric Picnic in 2008. They also played a show at Dublin's now defunct SFX in May 1992.

The band were formed by Dubliners Kevin Shields and Colm Ó Cíosóig with Debbe Googe and Bilinda Butcher in London in the mid-eighties and went on to become one of the most influential and critically acclaimed acts of the era.

MBV released three albums and several EPs on Creation Records, including 1988’s Isn’t Anything and 1991’s groundbreaking Loveless.

My Bloody Valentine disbanded by the mid-1990s but reformed in 2008 for a world tour and released their third album m b v in February 2013.
