This year, Amy supported her hometown hero Niall Horan in Dublin's 3Arena, headlined her own shows and supported Aurora in the National Stadium in Dublin.
She has released her two EP's to date, Is That All There Is? in March 2022 and Felicity Stories in April 2023, and her track Welcome to the Sidelines was used in Netflix series Heartstopper.
Amy is currently putting the finishing touches on her third EP, which is due for release in 2025.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
My first instrument was the tin whistle, my favourite colour is purple and I’m a pretty good tennis player.
How would you describe your music?
I would describe my music as a sort of eerie alternative pop maybe. One of my favourite artists described my music as "dark and spooky", so I’m happy to go with that.
Who are your musical inspirations?
I have too many to count but the first artists who come to mind are Elliott Smith, Twenty One Pilots, Samia, The 1975, Sparklehorse and Adrienne Lenker.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
My first two concerts fell on the same week. I saw Taylor Swift and The Script in the o2 Dublin in 2011.
What was the first record you ever bought?
When I was 10, I have a pretty vivid memory of buying Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 as soon as it came out.
What’s your favourite song right now?
My favourite song right now is July by The Awning.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Probably the entire second verse of Holding on to You by Twenty One Pilots.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
If I Believe You - The 1975.
