It follows three referees, Joy Neville (above), Michelle O'Neill and Maggie Farrelly (below), on the next phase of their careers as they strive to be the best in the business.
Viewers get access to each person's preparation, match and post-game thoughts and experiences.
We see how they handle their busy schedules and limited downtime, while also getting a first-hand testimonial of what it was that drove them toward becoming pioneers of the game.
Viewers will also see how each referee has had a different journey and will have a different trajectory in the future, but the one common thread is that they will keep striving to be the best, to change their respective sports for the better and to be viewed simply as a referee, rather than a female referee.
MasterChef: The Professionals, 8.00pm, BBC One
As season 17 begins, Marcus Wareing, Gregg Wallace and Monica Galetti (below) search their next culinary superstar as the first four chefs enter the kitchen hoping to secure a place in the week's quarter final.
The first two are tasked with making a carrot schnitzel with a white bean hummus and Zhoug in the Skills Test while the others tackle choux pastry beignets before they all present the judges with their own two course Signature Menu.

The chef teaches him some foolproof dishes, including parma ham and cauliflower cheese parcels, as well as honey mustard chicken with rustic potatoes.
Public Enemies: Kendrick vs Drake, 10.20pm, Channel 4
Using archival footage and interviews with those who know them best, this documentary charts Kendrick Lamar (below) and Drake's success from childhood to their current rivalry.
Ultimately, it’s investigating what started the rift between the two stars and how it became one of the top pop culture stories of 2024.
