There's an elephant in the room for DWTS' Jack and Alex...

They will perform an alien-inspired Salsa to Red Alert by Basement Jaxx as part of Fright Night on Sunday evening. They're relishing the routine - and dreading the curtain coming down on the current series.

"I watched the VTs of last year's [finalists] - and I spent half an hour bawling my eyes out watching these videos, just because it was kind of coming to an end. Seeing all the pro dancers and the celebrities from last year talking about their relationships and what they'd got out of the process started making me think - and I was a mess.

"I texted her and said, 'I'm sat here crying. What is wrong with me?! We haven't even done the quarter-finals, haven't even made it to the finals!'"

"It's my first season in Ireland, but I've done this six times, so this is my sixth celebrity," Vladimirov continued. "I was saying to Jack, 'You've ruined my experience going forward because no one's ever going to compare to you!'

"I've never had a relationship this strong with any of my partners previously - and I don't know if it's going to happen again.

"Obviously, it's so different for the pros because when you get to do this every year, we get to come back and help someone else's journey every time. But for Jack, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

"I'm so grateful that we got to do this together, that you're my partner, and I do feel he's my perfect match. I don't think I've ever... even dancing-wise, we dance similar, which is crazy because you're a beginner! The way that you move and our timing and the way that we just randomly sometimes will do the same thing - it's just weird!"

"Or when we come off [the dancefloor] [and say] the same thing at the same time!" laughed Woolley. "We'll both say something and be like, 'Oh!' I think we're around each other too much! We're starting to become one!"

"And it's really cute and it's really special, but it's definitely in the back of my mind that, 'Oh, it's going to be over in 10 days...'" admitted Vladimirov.

"Don't say that!" said Woolley.

The chemistry between the pair has been one of the highlights of the current season of Dancing with the Stars with Woolley revealing that he felt it from the get-go but didn't say it.

"I think mentally it was there for me, but it just took a couple of days for myself to come out of the shell a little bit," he recounted. "I'm a bit like that when I meet somebody new. I realise that I really like them and I just kind of need to allow myself to open up, but we hit a good place quite early on."

"The more time we spent together, obviously it became more, like, natural, but I do think Jack had a very long list of things he wanted from a dance partner, so I was just happy that he wasn't disappointed!" giggled Vladimirov.

"I had an interview at the start of this and they were like, 'Oh, what type of person do you work with well?'" said Woolley. "And I was like, 'They need this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this!' And they just turned around and went, 'We don't have anyone like that'. And now she's sat here! They brought her over - especially for me!

"They went, 'Ok, we need somebody charismatic, hard-working, who's going to tell Jack when he's good but also going to tell Jack when he's bad, similar age'. Someone who's small enough that I can dance with because I always wanted to be the taller one! Obviously, because I'm quite slim, I wanted to look quite broad... so you're actually the perfect fit!"

"He can lift me, guys!" laughed Vladimirov. "We've got some really cool tricks for the last few [dances]..."

"Get us to the final and you might see a few good lifts, you never know!" teased Woolley.
