Sabrina Carpenter says 'Irish boys are hard work' at Dublin gig

Sabrina Carpenter said "Irish boys are hard work" when she took to the stage at Dublin's 3Arena on Tuesday night.

The American popstar has been romantically linked to Irish actor Barry Keoghan in the past, but they are rumoured to have parted ways in recent months.

Oscar-nominated Dublin actor Keoghan starred in the music video for the Grammy-winning artist's hit single Please, Please, Please.

Before playing Please, Please, Please at the 3Arena, Carpenter addressed the audience at the sold-out concert, saying: "Dublin, it's so lovely to be here. You all look and sound amazing."

She added: "But my goodness, these Irish boys are hard work."

Keoghan and Carpenter were first rumoured to be romantically linked in late 2023 and they made their red-carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March 2024.

They also attended the Met Gala together in May of that year. The couple reportedly split last December.
