Tell us three things about yourself . . .
I am a community radio presenter, singer-songwriter and music promoter. I have singer-songwriters and bands on Dublin South FM on Sunday nights to promote their music. I write lyrics and melody, co-write with other singer-songwriter friends. I do some music PR for acts and run a music night, The Brady's Sessions.
How would you describe your music?
My own music I do a mix of pop/folk/country. It depends on the topic of the song. I have a song called Big Joe about a customer in Brady's which is kind of country, then I have a song Like You A Little More which is more pop/funk and my new song Can You Tell Me All About It is a mix of pop/folk maybe a little Country.
Who are your musical inspirations?
So many music inspirations - The Corrs, Simply Red, Lighthouse Family, Texas, Fleetwood Mac. I even recorded covers of Rick Astley and S Club.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
First concert was Sting’s Sacred Love tour in the old Point. He is truly great. I think I was the only person that knew the songs from that album.
What was the first record you ever bought?
I'm not 100% sure what the first record I had was but I seem to remember having two copies of Backstreet’s Back from the Backstreet Boys on cassette tape.
What’s your favourite song right now?
Stereophonics new song There's Always Gonna Be Something. It's a catchy one. Kelly Jones has a distinctive sound.
Favourite lyric of all time?
The Chain by Fleetwood Mac I would listen too for the rest of my life. I remember the good old F1 days.
