Dancing with the Stars will bring a never-before-seen twist to proceedings this Sunday evening with the introduction of Country Week.
In a first for the series, the six quarter finalists will dance a series of toe-tapping country music-themed performances in honour of one of the most popular music genres in the country, transforming the dancefloor into a Nashville style honky tonk for one night only.

Completing the line-up will be Taekwondo athlete, Jack Woolley dancing a Quickstep to Dasha’s 2024 top five hit Austin (Boots Stop Workin’) alongside his pro dance partner Alex Vladimirov.
Week nine also sees the annual Team Dance challenge return. After they’ve danced, the final six couples will be divided into two teams of three. The couples will perform again in their teams hoping to increase their judges’ score.
Whatever they earn in the Team Dance will be added to their individual score meaning everything is to play for. The teams and and their dance challenges will be revealed later this week.
The two couples with lowest overall points when the judges scores and public vote are combined will face the dreaded dance-off where one will miss out on a place in the series’ semi-final.
