Here's a slice of history.

It’s a new series of unique documentaries charting 50 years of dizzying social, political, and cultural change through the eyes and interviews of a man who had a front-row seat to it all: David Frost (below).

With unfettered access to interviews he conducted with The Beatles, Muhammad Ali and Jane Fonda, these first three films reveal, in their own words, the intricacies of their lives and driving passions.

Over the decades, Frost built deep bonds with the most famous people of his times, teasing out their deepest truths - no matter how shocking.

‌This opening episode explores his fifteen interviews with members of The Beatles, starting in 1964 with Paul McCartney.

Through the prism of these encounters, the episode dives into what inspired The Beatles at the peak of their fame, with highlights including an exceptional performance of Hey Jude.

There's also the time David Frost acted as a peerless ringmaster when John Lennon went toe-to-toe with a studio audience in a heated debate.

They plan on turning this thick stone walled ruin into a contemporary family home for themselves and their two small children.

The defining feature is the row of tall arches running the full length of the building, which give most rooms in the house a view of the surrounding forest.

Their budget is €350,000, but a restoration project among the trees doesn’t come without challenges. Can Fiona and Paddy work around the old building’s quirks to construct their sleek dream home in the forest?
