Bagatelle and Friends play 22 February at Wexford Opera House, 28 February at Cavan Town Hall Arts Centre, 15 March at Armagh City Hotel, 4 April at Clonmel Park Hotel, and 26 April at Lark Theatre Balbriggan.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
My name is ken Doyle. I am the founding member of Bagatelle in 1978, along with John O'Brien, and Liam Reilly. I love music, nature, dogs, motor biking, and flying microlight aircraft.
How would you describe your music?
Original music with a comfortable mix of folk ,blues ,rock, Irish, and modern day standards (to quote the late, great Larry Gogan).
Who are your musical inspirations?
Everything from The Beatles ,Steely Dan, Motown, Carol King, Joni Mitchell . . . way too many to include.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Horslips.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Dueling Banjos single.
What was the first record you ever bought?
We Built This City - Starship.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"One too many mornings and a thousand miles behind"
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A toss-up Between Rules Of Science and Let It Rain.
