Songs Inspired by the Movies at the BBC, 8.35pm, BBC Two
A night dedicated to songs associated with cinema begins with a trawl through the BBC archive for a collection of chart hits that take their inspiration from big-screen stars and classic movie moments.
They include Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes, Bananarama's 1984 hit Robert De Niro's Waiting, Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz (below) and Deep Blue Something's Breakfast at Tiffany's.
The programme also features I'm in Love with a German Film Star, by the Passions, and Shania Twain's That Don't Impress Me Much, which namechecks a leading Hollywood actor.
Then at 10.25pm there’s Movie Themes at the BBC, a selection of the best BBC moments and classic archives performances from singers and bands who cracked Hollywood as well as the pop charts.
With songs from blockbusters, Oscar-winners, comedies and family favourites featuring a selection soundtrack stars, including Destinys Child (below), Paul Simon, All Saints, Simple Minds and Dolly Parton.
Movie Themes at the BBC: Volume 2 follows at 11.25pm, with archive performances of songs from the big screen.
They include Lulu's To Sir with Love, Kate Bush's This Woman's Work, Lisa Loeb's Stay and Bruce Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia.
Other highlights include Isaac Hayes and the Bees Gees with the best of 1970s funk and disco and a BBC Piano Room performance of Sophie Ellis-Bextor's Murder on the Dancefloor - which caused a stir after its use in Saltburn.
Finally, at 12.25am there’s Sings Bond, a selection of performances of the Bond theme tunes across the years.
They include Adele's Skyfall and archive clips of Shirley Bassey's Diamonds Are Forever, Tina Turner's GoldenEye, Tom Jones's Thunderball and Matt Monro's From Russia with Love.
Plus, hits by Fun Lovin' Criminals, Sheena Easton, Lulu, Garbage, A-ha and others.
Kevin McGahern hosts the annual awards ceremony celebrating the best Irish film and TV of the past year, from the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
Among those confirmed to attend are: IFTA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Colm Meaney, Cillian Murphy, Saoirse Ronan, Andrew Scott, Ruth Negga, Nicola Coughlan and Sharon Horgan.
Kneecap's JJ Ó Dochartaigh, Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, and Naoise Ó Cairealláin - who've received a masssive 17 nominations - will also be present.
Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, 6.00pm, Virgin Media One
Season 9 sees Ben Shephard return to host as Christopher Biggins, Rosemary Shrager and Gareth Chilcott answer questions to win turns on an arcade-style machine.
Dropping tokens down a choice of four chutes, they hope to knock piles of them off a moving shelf - and the more they collect, the better their chances of collecting the £20,000 prize for their selected charity.
The Jonathan Ross Show, 9.35pm, UTV
Back for another run, Jonathan Ross (below) hosts another batch of celebrity guests to his green room.
They include star of stage and screen Brian Cox, Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse and Strictly champion Chris McCausland. Plus, music by Snow Patrol.

This is a campus thriller that plunges into the dangerous world of college fraternities and blind adherence to tradition.
Alex Wolff stars as Tom, a scholarship student desperate to break free from his working-class background who is charmed by the prestigious KNA fraternity's promises of high social status and alumni connections that open doors.
But upon beginning a romance with Annabelle (Halle Bailey), a classmate outside of his social circle, and the manipulative schemes of his fraternity president (Lewis Pullman) unfolding during the hazing of new members, Tom finds himself ensnared in a perilous game of ambition and loyalty.

Davy’s three are the Ferns family from Clare, the O’Connell family from Waterford, and the Cummins clan from Kilkenny.
Anna’s got the Magner family from Cork, Donncha’s the Flaherty family from Dublin and Sonia’s got the Adamowicz family from Cork to battle it out for a place in the grand final.
The families are divided into two heats, and each must take on a brand-new event – Valley of Pain.
The top families from each heat will go straight through to next week’s decider at The Flour Mill in Dublin Port.
The bottom two families in each heat must battle it out the first ever Forest Eliminator. The winning family secures a place in the grand final, while the losing family exits the competition.
Ant & Dec's Limitless Win, 8.30pm, Virgin Media One
More fun and games as Ant and Dec (below) try to help more contestants climb the never-ending money ladder.
First up are husband-and-wife team Dan and Sarah, who would like to buy their first home and build an animal sanctuary for their local community.
It's then the turn of married couple Nik and Khajal to take on the Limitless Ladder, with Nik hoping to spend his winnings on a purpose-built barbecue shack, but Khajal's not so sure.
Michael McIntyre's Big Show, 6.50pm, BBC One
Another evening of entertainment under the auspices of Michael McIntyre (below).
Comedian Judi Love bravely hands over her phone for a raucous Send to All, and Strictly Come Dancing's Shirley Ballas helps Michael surprise a deserving member of the public in the Unexpected Star of the Show.
With music from Alfie Boe and Michael Ball.
Damian Lawlor presents all the action from the Allianz Football League Division One match at Austin Stack Park between Kerry and Dublin (Throw-in 7.30pm).
Dublin claimed a home win when these teams met in last season's competition, a result that proved crucial, as they finished above Kerry to earn a place in the final due to their head-to-head record.

Micheál Ó Domhnaill presents coverage of the match in round three of Allianz Football League Division One, held at Celtic Park.
