The teaser trailer for the IFTA-nominated Spilt Milk has been released ahead of the Dublin-set coming-of-age story's arrival in cinemas later this year.
Spilt Milk marks the feature debuts of director Brian Durnin and writer Cara Loftus.
It stars Cillian Sullivan, Naoise Kelly, Danielle Galligan, Laurence O'Fuarain, Pom Boyd, Lewis Brophy, Justin Daniels Anene, Charleigh Bailey, Emmet Kirwan, Denise McCormack, John Burke, Hilda Fay, Sallay Garnett, Ryan Burke, Rory Mullen, and Jed Murray.
Spilt Milk follows "Bobby O'Brien (Cillian Sullivan), a precocious and energetic boy obsessed with becoming a great detective like his TV hero Kojak.
"Bobby's home is inner-city Dublin in 1984 - a place where Bobby and his best pal Nell (Naoise Kelly) torment their family and friends as they set up their own private investigation enterprise.
"But when Bobby's big brother Oisín (Lewis Brophy) disappears, this story of childhood adventure stumbles into the darkness of addiction."
Spilt Milk is nominated in four categories - Best Film, Best Director, Best Script, and Best Costume Design - at Friday's Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) Awards.
It will receive its Irish premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival on Sunday 23 February.
It is produced by Laura McNicholas for 925 Productions (Ireland) and James Heath for MTP (Scotland) in association with Cormac Fox for Vico Films (Ireland).
