Cork singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot has won his first Grammy Award for songwriting, after co-writing SZA's hit track Saturn, which was named Best R&B Song at the 2025 ceremony in Los Angeles.
Reacting to his win on Instagram, Ducrot said he "can't believe it," marking another major milestone in his rapidly rising career.
The Irish star has enjoyed a meteoric rise, with his debut album Victory reaching No. 1 in both Ireland and the UK, earning over 801 billion streams, and delivering hits like All For You and I'll Be Waiting.
Following two sold-out headline shows for 36,000 fans in Dublin and Cork last year, Ducrot toured North America with Calum Scott and continues to release new music, including his most recent hit, Can't Even Hate You.
Ducrot first gained mainstream recognition through TikTok, where his emotional songwriting and performances resonated with millions of fans.
This spring he is set to play a string of sold-out dates across Europe, including two nights at Dublin's 3Arena.
He will return to Cork for a massive homecoming gig at Live at the Marquee on 19 July.
