There may not be a dry eye in the studio tonight when Dancing with the Stars contestant Danny O'Carroll gives it his all for his father, number one fan, and Mrs Brown's Boys co-star Brendan O'Carroll as part of Dedicated Dance Week.
O'Carroll is dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha as his Mrs Brown's Boys character Buster Brady to Tom Jones's She's a Lady - with pro dancer Salome Chachua as Mrs Brown!
But despite the inherent humour in the routine, O'Carroll is "panicking a little bit" that his emotions will get the better of him on the night, such is the love that he's trying to express.
"I didn't know it was going to be an emotional week!" he said.
"They told me it was a dedication; I've seen the show before - I've never seen this!
"So when they told me it was Dedicated Dance Week, everybody was really excited because they get to pick whoever they want.
"Immediately, I wanted to pick my dad... when you love somebody so much and you've told them so many times, you find different ways to be able to express your love to that person. And getting the opportunity to do something like this as a dance, you don't get ever. So it's quite a special thing that you want to do. And you want to nail it for, in my case, my dad.
"But we started doing VTs (pre-recorded interviews for the show) and they ask you some questions during the VTs. I'm not going to lie - you get the lump in your throat and you're trying to hold that tear back. Because once that tear flows, I'm gone! So it takes everything. And it did.
"I phoned my dad yesterday to tell him I was dedicating the dance to him - I'm even getting emotional now! - so he was very happy. And he cried. Then they asked me to tell Dad why I was dedicating the dance to him and I just... (Exhales heavily). So it's that type of emotion that comes out.
"And I don't even know what other people are doing, but I know I'm going, 'Oh, this is far too much for me, like!'"

All that being said, O'Carroll is loving the DWTS experience and his family are "living for Sundays now" - with Brendan O'Carroll cheering him on from his home in Florida.
"The only thing I'd love to do is get to the final, so I'm hoping that my dad will come home to see me," he continued.
"I don't plan on winning - and there are so many people that deserve [to win] it. If it's going to be a dance competition, the best dancer deserves to win. If it's a personality competition, I want that one!"
