Speaking about the track, she says, "It's about learning to find peace and escaping the 'jail cell they call the worried mind'."

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I am 15-year-old singer-songwriter living in Meath who sings and plays guitar, piano and bass and trying to learn drums. I have been writing songs for a few years now but only started releasing them in 2023. I have a brilliant collaboration with producer Declan Legge of Analogue Catalogue Studio B in Northern Ireland who is really helping me learn about the different aspects of the music world.

How would you describe your music?

I like to think of my music as mainly folk, but with different inspirations. For example, country, blues and an occasional tinge of rock. I like writing songs that people can relate to and spending time writing interesting lyrics that helps me tell a story. I write my songs for myself and its one of my favourite things to do.

Who are your musical inspirations?

My favourite musical artists would include Zach Bryan and Kingfishr, but I enjoy a wide variety of music. I like all sorts of genres, for example soul, rock, country and jazz. I think listening to lots of different songs helps me experiment with my own music.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

My dad played in pub bands when I was younger but my first ever really big concert was going to see Niall Horan in the 3Arena when I was 13.

What was the first record you ever bought?

I've recently started collecting vinyl and I love it! I was given a record player and many records as gifts, but the first one I ever bought myself was Dummy by Portishead. I love going around all the old vinyl shops in Dublin and seeing what I can find.

What’s your favourite song right now?

My favourite song changes every week, but right now it has to be The Commitments’ version of Otis Redding’s Try A Little Tenderness. This is one of my all-time favourite movies and that song and Andrew Strong’s voice is just incredible.

Favourite lyric of all time?

This is a hard question… maybe the third verse of Hey Jude. "And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain, Don't carry the world upon your shoulders, For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool, By making his world a little colder".

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls.

Where can people find your music/more information?
