When Harry Met Sally stars Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have recreated their classic diner scene from the rom-com favourite in a new ad ahead of the Super Bowl in the US.
The ad for Hellmann's mayonnaise sees Ryan and Crystal reprising their roles as Sally Albright and Harry Burns - with Ryan's character all hot and bothered about her condiment of choice.
The Hollywood Reporter says the ad was filmed at the original setting for the scene, Katz's Delicatessen on New York's Lower East Side, and was the first time the stars had been back in the delicatessen since the 1989 Rob Reiner-directed comedy was made.
It was filmed at the same table as the one in the hit movie.
"They both said they hadn't been back inside Katz's since they shot the scene, and so we got to be there for the moment when they both walked on set," said the ad's director, Jake Szymanski, when it premiered at Katz's on Tuesday evening.
"They also hadn't seen each other in a couple [of] years. So we got to see them walk back into this place, and the memories flood back, and they start remembering and sharing stories and talking about what it was like to film that day."
Warning: spoiler alert!
In the ad, the original scene's "I'll have what she's having" punchline is said by a new rom-com star - Anyone But You's Sydney Sweeney at the table opposite.
"There was some talk early on about, 'Who are we gonna get for the cameo role? Who's gonna end the spot?' It's such an iconic line, and When Harry Met Sally is such an iconic rom-com and a moment for Meg, obviously, that we're recreating," said Szymanski.
"And I kind of like that Sydney is emerging as this new rom-com star... so I like that it was kind of like a mini passing of the torch to the next generation to have her at the end."
