Elaine Crowley became the second celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars on Sunday night.
The journalist and TV presenter and her pro partner Denys Samson did a jive to You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray but they had the lowest number of votes combined from the first three episodes.
On exiting the competition, Elaine said, "I am disappointed but I had a bit of a shaky day today."
It was Movie Week on DWTS and the annual special saw the ten remaining celebrity couples dance glittering routines inspired by some of the biggest movies of all time, with iconic heroes, villains and much-loved characters taking centre stage.
How the night unfolded:
Former Miss Universe Ireland, Aishah Akorede and Robert Rowiński were the first to take to the dancefloor with their take on a Cha-cha-cha to Rescue Me by Fontella Bass from Sister Act.
Judge Brian Redmond said: "The cardinal sin in cha cha is weak legs but as far as I'm concerned, the only weak legs were mine watching you!" Brian gave the couple 8 points.
Karen Byrne said: "You don’t need any rescuing tonight. Great look from Robert. I loved this! With those legs, my hopes were high for your cha cha. With your legs, push into the floor a little more. But what an opener!" It was an 8 from Karen.
Arthur Gourounlian said: "Those cha cha hips! You took the whole audience to the chapel! It was fun and you’ve set the standard for tonight." It was an 8 from Arthur.
They scored a total of 24 points.
Next up was Gearóid Farrelly and Stephen Vincent with an American Smooth to Consider Yourself from Oliver!
Brian said: "The two major things about American smooth are razzmatazz and technicality. You have some issues with your feet, but it’s your only Achille’s heel. Please sir, can I have some more?" Brian gave them 7.
Karen said: "You have trust in each other. You were totally in character!" It was another 7 from Karen.
Arthur said: "The jump was effortless my jaw dropped - you keep impressing me. You were telling a story - I’m so proud of you." 8, said Arthur.
They scored a total of 22 points.
Kayleigh Trappe and Ervinas Merfeldas did a Quickstep to The Aristocats from The Aristocats.
Brian said: "You were like a cat on a hot tin roof. You dealt with that really well. It did get a little bit skittish but apart from that you were beautiful all the way through. You should be feline a lot happier with yourself." It was a 7 from Brian.
Karen said: "This dance suited you so well. From beginning to end, it was jam-packed and brilliant. Well done." Karen scored them 7
Arthur said: "Kayleigh, you embodied the character. Your feet were so fast. Meow!" It was a 7 from Arthur.
They scored a total of 21 points.
Jack Woolley and Alex Vladimirov did a Tango to The Joker from Joker: Folie à Deux.
Brian said: "That performance has inspired the bad guy inside me - it was not quite ss good as I was hoping. The legs were a bit too bent." It was a 7 from Brian.
Karen said: "You weren’t joking around tonight. Unbelievable. You embraced the character. You were iconic." Karen gave them 8.
Arthur said: "You captivated everyone’s attention. You frame is not 100% but your legs were great. Bravo!" It was an 8 from Arthur.
They scored a total of 23 points.
Joanna Donnelly and Maciej Zieba did a Quickstep to Mrs. Robinson from The Graduate.
Brian said: "You danced to a song from The Graduate but you do not have an honours degree in dancing yet. You had some nice quickstep choreography. There’s work to do but an improvement on last week." It was a 5 from Brian.
Karen said: "You looked like you were enjoying yourself. You were in sync. A lovely, neat dance." Karen gave them 6.
Arthur said: "Oh la la! Your upper body was in position and your lower body was living its best life." Arthur awarded them 6.
They scored a total of 17 points.
Elaine Crowley and Denys Samson jived to You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray.
Brian said: "That was really interesting to watch. After last week, I can see your confidence coming back step by step. It needed more bounce but you’ve bounced back." Brian scored them 6.
Karen said: "I feel like proud mammy watching that. It needed a little bit more attack but the real question is who’s using more hairspray, you or Denys?" It was a 6 from Karen.
Arthur said: "No pain, no gain. Your arms were beautiful and so was your face. You didn’t give. Well done." It was another 6 from him
They scored a total of 18 points.
Danny O’Carroll and Salome Chachua were next with a Paso Doble to Now We Are Free from Gladiator.
Brian: "Thumbs up to you and all of the creative department for that. You do need to take a little bit of a breath now and then. This performance puts you right back on the red carpet." It was an 8 from Brian.
Karen: "Danny, that is called coming in and taking Movie Week by storm. This was serious Danny. The character and the props was so in sync. I loved it." Karen awarded them 8.
Arthur said: Breathtaking - the intensity of it. Epic!" Arthur gave them 9.
They scored a total of 25 points.
Yasmin Seky and Simone Arena did a Contemporary Ballroom to How Far I'll Go from Moana.
Brian said: "I love it! Expressively you were beautiful." Brian gave them 8.
Karen says: "I know every child at home has been singing their hearts out to that, you took it to the next level." Karen gave them 9 .
Arthur says: "You embody the character of Moana. I love this dance - beautiful." Arthur awarded them 9.
They scored a total of 26 points.
Kevin Dundon and Rebecca Scott did a Jive to I'm a Believer from Shrek.
Brian said: "That was more Donkey than Shrek. We all know Shrek lives in a swamp and that’s what that was - a sticky, gloopy mess." It was a 2 from Brian.
Karen said: "The song was I’m a believer. Did I believe it? Not really but it was fun." 3 points, said Karen.
Arthur said: "Kevin, Kevin, Kevin I don’t know what to say. You brought joy to movie week." Arthur gave them a 3.
They scored a total of 8 points.
The final couple tonight were Rhys McClenaghan and Laura Nolan doing a Charleston to The Spider-Man Theme from Spider-Man.
Brian said: "Extraordinary! It is an absolute honour to watch a gold medal Olympian with his ever improving dance skills." Brian said 9.
Karen said: "My god! A gymnast dancing to Spider Man the whole thing was perfect. Unbelievable! I’m lost for words." It was a 10 from Karen.
Arthur said: "Rhys, something clicked in you tonight. You really connected. Love it" He gave them a 10.
They scored a total of 29 points.
