Second act revealed for Ireland's Eurovision 2025 bid

Reylta has been revealed as the second artist in the running to represent Ireland at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Basel, Switzerland, this May.

Singing Fire, she will compete alongside five other acts in the Eurosong final on The Late Late Show Eurosong Special on 7 February.

Reylta's music is described as being "rooted deeply in Irish tradition and heritage". She has been performing with her band since 2017 and released her debut single, Fools Games, in 2019.

The countdown to Basel has begun

Billed by The Irish Independent as "Galway's Alt Folk Queen", Reylta's debut album, Everything Unsaved Will Be Lost, was released last October.

On Monday, Bobbi Arlo was revealed as the first act hoping to represent Ireland at this year's Eurovision.

The remaining four Eurosong acts will be revealed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, on The Ray D'Arcy Show.
