David Kitt, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, DUG, Méabh McKenna, Really Good Time, and January Winters will also be performing at the event, which is presented by Homebeat in collaboration with Doolin Arts.
There will also be DJ sets from Sean Johnston from A Love From Outer Space, Ali Morris, local heroes My Name Is John and Sunday Spinners, alongside the crew from Dublin bar The Big Romance Soundsystem, Clare's Piqué, and Homebeat Djs.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
Niamh: Ok, three totally unrelated things about me; I play the fiddle, write songs, and enjoy experimenting with instruments to make freaky sounds. I'm really getting into gardening the last few years and really looking forward to getting the spuds in the ground this year. I dream of adopting a doggy on a very regular basis.
How would you describe your music?
Ruairi: A soup of dreamy pop, playful strings and electronic experiments. Soft bops for soft people that are sometimes scary and scared. And wild garlic.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Niamh: I love Mica Levi - everything I've heard from them is amazing. Astrid Sonne is a relatively recent inspiration for the Ana Palindrome crew. Tirzah is amazing, too. There's so much amazingness happening in Ireland at the moment - RÓIS, The Bonk, Elaine Howley and Junior Brother would be but a few local heroes lighting the way.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
What was the first record you ever bought?
Niamh: Christina Aquilera - Genie in a Bottle. Got it in Extravision with my Communion money. It felt like a big deal - very precious purchase.
What's your favourite song right now?
Ruairí: Living Room by Grouper. I think I listen to it at least two or three times a day. It feels like being out by the sea in the dark, in a strangely comforting way.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Niamh: "Well, my time went so quickly/I went lickety-splickly" - Ol' 55 by Tom Waits.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Ruairí: I’ve been trying to make my own version of a desert island playlist, so this is a really tough one. But I think it would have to be Clay Pigeons by Blaze Foley. Making me smile and breaking my heart simultaneously for eternity. Thanks, Blaze.
