The full trailer for Bring Them Down, the new Irish thriller starring Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott, has been released ahead of the film's arrival in cinemas on Friday 7 February.
The debut feature of writer-director Christopher Andrews, "Bring Them Down is the story of two feuding farming families in present-day rural Ireland. Michael (Christopher Abbott), the last son of a farming family, lives an isolated existence with his ailing father Ray.
"Haunted by a terrible accident in his past, Michael has isolated himself from the world and is dedicated to his prized flock.
"When the ongoing conflict with rival farmer Gary and his unpredictable son Jack (Barry Keoghan) stirs old tensions and grievances, it triggers a chain of events that take [sic] increasingly violent turns, leaving both families permanently altered."
Bring Them Down's writer-director Andrews won the Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director at the 2024 British Independent Film Awards in December.
The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last September and won Best Picture at the Texas film festival Fantastic Fest in the same month.
Starring alongside Keoghan and Abbott in Bring Them Down are Colm Meaney, Nora-Jane Noone, Paul Ready, and Susan Lynch.
Both Keoghan and co-star Abbott are among the executive producers.
