The Traitors resumes its third season, Neven's Portuguese Food Trails returns, as does The Repair Shop and Grantchester, while there's a brand-new crime drama called Patience . . .
The Traitors, 9.00pm, BBC One
Last week’s opening episodes indicate that this third season of the hugely addictive reality show about trust and treachery could be as much fun as last year’s terrific second run.
As the castle-bound drama resumes, the question on everyone's lips is who will be making it to breakfast as the traitors have chosen their latest victim.
Suspicion mounts amongst the Faithful, and with surprises along the way in this episode, the mission certainly rattles a few cages.
As evening descends, the Faithful band together with the aim of banishing a Traitor. Or will it be a fractious Round Table that leads to the loss of yet another innocent Faithful leaving the castle?
Just make sure the kettle’s full and the digestives are open by 8.50pm so you don’t miss a moment.
Chef Neven Maguire returns for a third season and goes on another culinary journey around Portugal, beginning in the north of the country with the picturesque coastal town of Viana do Castelo.
He explores the rich bounty of the Atlantic, sampling freshly caught seafood at the Pousada Viana do Castelo and heads up a mountain to the Basilica de Santa Luzia.
The Repair Shop, 8.00pm, BBC One
This uplifting show returns for a new run – just weeks after the last one finished!
This week’s show sees experts repair a Syrian rocking horse that has quite literally been through the wars, and an ice cream trailer bought to sell gelato at weddings in the 1990s.
There’s also a pocket dictionary that connects its owner to his late mother and a bell owned by the first ever female town crier for Lytham in Lancashire.
Video Nasty, 10.40pm, BBC One
This new comedy drama, starring Justin Daniels Anene, Leia Murphy and Cal O'Driscoll, was filmed in Tyrone.
It’s all about two teenagers named Billy and Con who embark on an epic quest to complete a cult horror VHS collection.
The duo must find a way to get the final tape in a banned cult video collection before word gets out that they've stolen money from the school graduation fund.
When Con's sister Zoe explodes a truth bomb that threatens to ruin their friendship, the boys have to put their differences aside to chase down a promising lead on the last tape.
Episode two follows at 11.10pm.
On their way to meet their source, Billy, Con and Zoe get lost in middle England, where they hope to make the tape exchange that will complete their cult VHS collection.
Grantchester, 9.00pm, UTV
Tom Brittney and Robson Greene return for a ninth season of the cosy crime drama.
When the circus comes to town, Will and Geordie investigate after one of the performers is found dead having been shot with a crossbow that was used in a magic trick.
After finding out the crossbow was tampered with and the death wasn't an accident, the pair have a difficult task in solving the crime as all the performers have alibis for the time of the murder and the circus was closed.
Patience, 9.00pm, Channel 4
Another brand-new show, this crime drama is set in York and stars Laura Fraser and Ella Maisy Purvis.
It certainly has an interesting premise.
Patience Evans works in a clerical role filing police records. An autistic woman, she has a special interest in solving puzzles and a secret fascination and talent for criminology.
As a result, her unique perspective allows her to connect the dots through clues in a way others simply cannot.
Detective Inspector Bea Metcalf recognises Patience's unique insight and takes her under her wing, integrating her into a police team operating on the frontline.
Kirstie and Phil’s Love it or List It, 8.00pm, Channel 4
In this season 10 opener, Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer (below) help Carl and Katy decide whether to renovate or sell their three-bedroom Victorian semi-detached home in Chester.
Carl thinks moving somewhere new with more space for their two children and to work from home that is more energy-efficient would be the best choice.
Regardless of whether or not he’s right, Katy is convinced they can solve all their problems with a roof-raising renovation.
The Clinic For Well People, 9.00pm, Virgin Media Play
Streaming on Virgin Media One
Back for a second season, this series looks at people with no underlying symptoms who are invited to undergo a full medical check.
Among the patients featured in the first episode is Luas driver William.
Married with six children and ten grandchildren, they are the reason why William wants a health check, as he wants to be around them a lot longer.
Kenneth Williams: Fantabulosa!, 10.00pm, BBC Four
Here’s a repeat from 2006 that’s well worth a look – especially if you missed it first time around.
The always excellent Michael Sheen is in outstanding form as he takes the lead role in a drama based on British comedy star Kenneth Williams' diaries.
The film charts the comic actor's professional successes, which included the Carry On series, radio shows such as Round the Horne and numerous TV appearances.
It also delves behind the laughter to explore the actor's problems, insecurity and self-doubt.
Fake Profile, Netflix
As season 2 of the Colombian drama begins, someone is killing the most attractive men in Colombia under an intriguing modus operandi.
Through the fake profile of Camila Román on a dating app, the killer meets their victims, woos them, seduces them, and then eliminates them by taking them to the edge of pleasure.
Amid the shared thirst for revenge among several suspects and the desires that begin to arise between the ex-lovers from Tinder, the mystery turns the residents and visitors of the exclusive Riviera Esmeralda condominium into potential hidden faces behind that fake profile.
